Ghana is one of the safest country in Africa but care must be taken as usual as a sign of awareness and carefulness.It is also good to avoid isolated and rowdy places,ladies should also becareful when traveling alone,since it will be better to have a local tour guide or a tour operator to take you through.One have to be care-wise when going out at night unless you know where you are going or better fetch a taxi,uber etc.

Ghana is a very hot country so it is advisable to choose your attire very well,temperatures range from 30°C (86°F) during the day to 24°C (75°F) at night.Men can wear simple short and any normal T.shirt but ladies should have something decent since most of the tourist site  are culturally and traditionally inclined,also most of the tourist site are located in remote areas so how people view life and dressing will be different from the cities.

The best time to travel to Ghana is during the warm or dry seasons which is from November to April but all moths are ok it depends on your mission.

VISA REQUIREMENT

As usual,those who want to travel to Ghana need a Passport,Travel Visa,that is for British citizens,USA as well as Shengen countries,a vaccination is also recommended such as  cholera, yellow fever, rabies, meningitis, polio, measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis), chickenpox etc.

Ghana’s currency is Cedis and Pesewas,the note are Cedis and the coins are the pesewas,the name pesewas has it’s roots from the Portuguese word Peso’s.
